A note from the universe and a link

I am a worrier.

I'm pretty sure there must be a worry gene and my Grandma Beavens passed it on to me. She worried about *everything*. And some of it used to drive me crazy. So yeah, I see it in me and now I'm driving myself crazy! I mean, I don't want to be a worrier about as much as I don't want to have a bumpy nose, but there it is.

I think one of the reasons I love books so much, and writing too, is because inside a story, I can stop worrying about my own stuff for awhile and worry about someone else's. Because man, I get tired of my own stuff.

Gratitude helps to combat the worry, as does getting out and doing fun things. Enjoying life is a good cure for a lot of things, don't you think?

Anyway - just yesterday, my husband and I had a conversation on the patio about some things I've been worrying about. And today, in my inbox, I got this note from the universe (you can subscribe to these notes here) and it was just what I needed.

It is OK. You are alright. You needn't second guess anymore, Lisa.

Everyone is safe. Nothing "bad" is going to happen. All of the promises have been kept.

And you could not possibly be more adored.

By me,
The Universe

Ahhh... Thanks, Universe. Sometimes a little reassurance goes a long way.

In more helpful news, you can pop over to the Crowe's Nest blog today (a blog by my agent and her clients) and read a post I wrote about learning how to write. Hope you enjoy it!!!
